GTA 6 preorder guide

Where can you preorder GTA VI?

Rockstar Support names PlayStation Store, Xbox Store and Rockstar Store. It also allows select retailers and third-party storefronts where the game is available in your country. Platform and country availability differ; check the official purchase route for your account region.

• PlayStation Store UK — PS5 Standard and Ultimate choices ↗
• Xbox UK — Series X|S Standard ↗ or Ultimate Edition ↗
• Rockstar Store — choose the console and available format ↗

These are console offers. Rockstar Store is not evidence of a PC or Rockstar Games Launcher release; see the PC announcement reference. For older-console and disc-drive questions, use Platforms.

Preorder editions and verified UK digital prices

Standard Edition

£69.99 on PlayStation Store UK and Xbox UK. Includes the base game; eligible offers add preorder extras.

Ultimate Edition

£89.99 on PlayStation Store UK and Xbox UK. Includes the game and Ultimate Edition Upgrade content.

Physical Standard

Code in box; check the seller's current regional price and availability. No physical Ultimate Edition is listed in Rockstar Support's offer.

Prices checked on 5 October 2026. These are UK digital console prices, not worldwide, PC or physical retail prices. Recheck the matching official store before purchasing.

The detailed edition comparison covers the complete content lists and upgrade questions. Standard owners can buy the Ultimate upgrade separately; the upgrade alone does not include the base game.

What are the GTA VI preorder bonuses?

The Vintage Vice City Pack is the preorder extra listed by Rockstar. Its contents are:

• '55 Vapid Stanier Sedan and Garage
• Outfits and Hairstyles
• Exclusive Weapon Pattern

Rockstar Store advertises the pack for orders before 20 November, with a supplies qualification. Rockstar Support includes it with eligible digital purchases before that date and with physical preorders. The physical offer uses one combined game-and-pack download code.

Eligible digital offers also list one month of GTA+. That subscription offer is separate from the pack and from Ultimate's paid content. Do not assume the digital GTA+ month is included in a physical box. Detailed package and claim distinctions stay in Editions.

Preorder deadlines: which date applies to what?

There is no single deadline here that answers every buying, bonus and redemption question. A preorder is a purchase before release; a bonus offer can have a different eligibility window.

Preorders opened

25 June 2026. This is the opening date, not a cutoff.

UK digital bonus purchase cutoff

Both reviewed UK stores require purchase before 19 November 2026 at 23:59:59 for the pack and GTA+ month. Their descriptions do not specify a timezone.

Broader Rockstar bonus wording

Rockstar's pages describe eligible orders/purchases before 20 November 2026. Use the matching store's terms for your platform and region.

PS5 GTA+ redemption

PlayStation Store UK: redeem by 31 March 2027 at 23:59:59. This is a claim deadline, not the game purchase cutoff.

Xbox GTA+ redemption

Xbox UK: redeem within 180 days after placing the preorder. This depends on the individual order date.

Preload

Local midnight on 12 November 2026. Downloading ahead does not provide early gameplay access.

Release

19 November 2026. Exact playable unlock timing is a separate question.

Physical order and delivery cutoff

No universal physical preorder deadline is established. Check the seller's stock, shipping and pickup terms.

Do not convert the bonus cutoff into a worldwide game unlock minute. Release Time explains the regional timestamp and the global schedule still unknown.

GTA+ preorder offer: platform-specific terms

PlayStation's offer is tied to the account used to preorder, with one redemption per account. Its included month renews monthly at the regular price until cancelled. Xbox lists one redemption per platform account and excludes child accounts restricted from age-restricted content.

Follow the PS5 and Xbox GTA+ redemption instructions for the platform-specific claim process. Purchase eligibility and redemption deadlines are separate, as shown above.

The offer does not announce GTA VI Online or a GTA+ requirement for GTA VI. The Online reference explains the single-player confirmation and multiplayer unknowns.

Preload and physical preorder preparation

Rockstar Support confirms digital preload at local midnight on 12 November 2026. Physical Standard copies contain a download code and no disc; shipping and pickup are expected to start from that date, and codes support preload when received and redeemed.

A shipment date is not a guarantee that your box arrives in time. See physical format and buying checks, preload setup and game-code redemption.

No official file-size figure is established in the reviewed material. Use Download Size for storage status; a known preload date cannot establish the number of GB.

Does preordering give early access?

No early-access entitlement has been announced for Standard or Ultimate in the reviewed offers. Preload means downloading in advance; it does not establish that the game can be played early.

Read the early-access offer answer and the Launch Center for their respective access and release-date scope.

Before placing an order

1. Choose the correct PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version and account region.
2. Compare Standard and Ultimate content in the edition guide.
3. Confirm the price, bonus eligibility and subscription terms on your actual storefront.
4. For a box, confirm it supplies a download code and check delivery expectations.
5. Keep the purchase cutoff, GTA+ redemption deadline, preload date and playable release timing separate.
