Confirmed

Official launch platforms and the PC release-date question

The current announcement covers PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The console release date is not a PC release date: it supplies no PC launch window, year or delay estimate.

Not announced does not mean never coming to PC. It also does not confirm a later PC port. GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 release histories cannot establish Rockstar's plans for GTA VI.

Use Platforms for console compatibility and the Launch Center for the announced console launch. The Status Desk provides the short PC answer alongside other current status checks.

Steam, Epic Games Store and other PC details

PC version and release date
Neither a PC version nor a PC release date has been announced in the reviewed material.
Steam
No announced Steam release, listing or Steam preorder offer in these official sources.
Epic Games Store
No announced Epic Games Store version or launch arrangement.
Rockstar Games Launcher
No confirmed PC release through the Launcher. Rockstar Store selling console versions does not establish a Launcher version.
PC preorder and price
No confirmed PC purchase offer, edition pricing or preorder bonuses.
PC preload
No PC download window or preload eligibility has been announced.
PC-specific features
No announced PC graphics options, performance targets, ultrawide support, upscaling features or input requirements.
Cross-play
No announced crossplay support, including PC-to-console play.

A console purchase sold on Rockstar's website is still a console purchase. A storefront account, a generic launcher page or a listing for another Rockstar game does not establish a GTA VI PC release.

GTA 6 PC system requirements

No official minimum or recommended PC requirements are available in the reviewed material. CPU, GPU, RAM, operating system, storage capacity and SSD requirements remain unknown. There are also no confirmed PC benchmarks or settings targets.

There is no evidence-based answer yet to “can my PC run GTA VI?” A requirements list needs an official GTA VI PC source that identifies the applicable specification and target. Console footage and another game's requirements cannot provide that list.

Wait for a confirmed specification before making a GTA VI-specific hardware decision. The download-size reference separately tracks the unannounced console file and install sizes; it is not a PC storage estimate.

Can you preorder or preload GTA VI on PC?

No official PC preorder offer is announced in these sources. There is no supported PC price, Steam price, PC edition comparison or PC bonus deadline to report.

The known GTA VI preorder offers cover the announced consoles. Their prices, bonuses and preload date do not establish PC terms. A console download code should not be treated as a PC licence.

PC features and cross-play remain unknown

There is no confirmed PC feature set or cross-platform multiplayer support. The current GTA VI product is described as single-player; this does not supply a future multiplayer plan or PC-to-PS5/Xbox compatibility.

The Online and multiplayer reference covers crossplay, co-op and progression questions. PlayStation-specific feature claims must stay scoped to PlayStation and cannot establish PC graphics or performance features.

What would change this answer?

A direct Rockstar announcement or an updated official GTA VI platform/support page naming PC would change the version status. A date, storefront, price or requirement would each need its own explicit support; announcing a PC version alone would not settle every row above.

This reference was checked on 5 October 2026 against the sources below. It records their current announcement scope, not a prediction. Leaks, retailer placeholders, reposts and inferred release patterns do not confirm a PC version.
