Is GTA VI coming to Xbox Series S?

Yes. Rockstar lists Xbox Series X|S for GTA VI's 19 November 2026 launch, and Xbox's own game page confirms that platform family. Series S is included; its frame rate, resolution and graphics modes have not been announced in the reviewed official material.
Series S is included in Series X|S
The official platform label includes both Xbox Series consoles. You do not need to treat the Series X name as excluding Series S. It also does not establish an Xbox One version: check the platform reference when choosing hardware.
Choose the Xbox version and plan the download
Rockstar offers digital Standard and Ultimate Editions. Its physical Standard box also supplies a digital download code, with no disc inside. Choose the Xbox code, not a PlayStation code. See physical versus digital purchases and edition content.
The preload guide explains when digital orders and received physical codes can start downloading. Leave storage planning open until an official final size is supplied.
Support does not promise a performance target
Series S compatibility does not establish 30 FPS, 60 FPS, 4K or a particular graphics mode. Nor does it promise identical performance to Series X. The performance Status Desk tracks verified targets and remaining unknowns. For the launch date and preparation checklist, use the Launch Center.
