GTA VI has not been announced for Xbox Game Pass in the reviewed official Rockstar and Xbox material. The Xbox listing offers a purchase for Series X|S; console support does not establish Game Pass or day-one subscription access.
Xbox availability does not mean Game Pass inclusion
The official Xbox listing offers GTA VI and Ultimate Edition as purchases for Series X|S. It does not advertise a Game Pass entitlement. Rockstar’s launch page also provides no Game Pass offer. This records the reviewed offer, not a claim that the game will never join.
The Series S answer establishes compatibility. Editions compares purchase packages.
A GTA+ bonus is not Game Pass access
Eligible Xbox preorders offer a GTA+ month. GTA+ and Game Pass are separate subscriptions; that bonus does not announce GTA VI as a subscription-library game or establish day-one access.
Use the GTA+ redemption answer for the Xbox offer steps and deadline.
What would confirm a change?
A directly relevant Rockstar or Xbox announcement must identify GTA VI’s inclusion and supported timing or tier. General Game Pass advertising and other Rockstar games in a catalogue do not establish that entitlement.
Use the Launch Center for planning and Platforms for subscription context. An unannounced PC version remains separate from PC Game Pass; see PC status.
