Headphones, earbuds and smartphones
Rockstar’s October 8 announcement explicitly confirms both radio and podcast listening in vehicles and on foot. It describes newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to Jason and Lucia’s smartphones. Listening is therefore available beyond vehicle radio.

That statement does not establish that every radio or music function works identically outside vehicles. It does not confirm custom playlists, portable MP3 libraries, phone music apps, Bluetooth mechanics or personal radio stations.
